Spring Has Sprung!

Well...sort of. It has still been a little chilly and gray over here in the Pacific Northwest, but most days allow us a little sunshine at some point, and the smell of spring is definitely in the air. And, when spring is finally upon us, Washington truly gets one of the most beautiful springtimes around...

Now, I'll be the first to proclaim my love for Spring. I love everything about it; the way it symbolizes new beginnings, the way it makes you start to think of Summer, the way it brings barren landscapes back to life in an explosion of lush greens and pinks. Of course, there are several, less abstract reasons I love this season too! Some of those are...

  • The fruit and vegetables
Spring offers up some of the best foods of the year. Strawberries, Artichokes, Asparagus, Spinach, Apricots, Avacados...the list goes on. We will be sure to keep this list in mind when planning what to serve at our upcoming Spring Show (April 30th, click here for details) so you'll want to be there!

  • The flowers
Daffodils, Tulips, Bluebells, Lilac, and of course Cherry Blossoms! Their fragrances, colors, and the way they brighten any landscape are just a few of the reasons to love flowers.

  • The colors
I love pastels and the clean, fresh hues of pale pink, lavender, blue, green, and yellow. Spring colors inspire me...and they apparently inspire our designers, too, which brings us to my next reason to love Spring...

  • New Jewelry! Time to break out the skirts and sandals and pack away your more somber jewelry in anticipation of more graceful, bright, and youthful accessories! We have been getting tons of new pieces in over the past few days, and I am delighted to be able to share some of them with you....
